Heqing Yang

embodied AI / robot task & motion planning / open-vocabulary perception

I am a Ph.D. student at the School of Artificial Intelligence, Beihang University, advised by Prof. Si Liu and co-advised by Prof. Linjiang Huang. I want to work on robotics full stack — from building the physical robot (BRBOTS), to developing robot-native foundation models that run on it (EPoG, CR-Solver), to evaluating the whole system both in simulation and on real hardware (EVA-Client). Currently I am a research intern with the Meituan LongCat Team (Oct 2025 – now), working on robot foundation models; previously I interned at BIGAI (Mar 2024 – Jan 2025) working on long-horizon task planning over 3D scene graphs.

News

Jul 2026 Released EVA-Client — a unified framework for deployment, evaluation, and data collection on real robots. One policy, any robot; debug, record, evaluate, visualize, all in the browser.
Jul 2026 Our team took 2nd place (2/62) at the RoCo Challenge @ AAAI 2026 — Robotic Collaborative Assembling for Human-Centered Manufacturing.
Jun 2026 Our paper on a GPU-accelerated kinematics and motion solver for continuum robots (CR-Solver) has been accepted at IROS 2026 (first author).
May 2026 Our paper on a 3D-scene-graph long-horizon task planner (EPoG) has been accepted at ICRA 2026 (first author).
Oct 2025 Joined the Meituan LongCat Team as a research intern.
